Paging Stinky....Paging Stinky
I was told by a very reputable authority that if anyone knew the answer to my question it would be you.
I have a wood stove insert in my downstairs fireplace close to my kitchen. I've been thinking of getting a new one and wondered if you ever heard of a wood stove insert that I could cook a pizza in? I'd love to have a stove that could do double duty and if I'm gonna go for it I'd love to be able to bake in it.
Have you ever heard of such a thing? I did a quick google search but came up with Nada.
And the voice from the bathroom in the basement thunders upward:

1. Wow, that's a great idea ..... but nope. I never heard of one.
It seems like such a simple idea ..... but it isn't easy to do. An oven like you're imagining relies on thermal mass and good insulation. To make an oven small enough to fit into a space for a fireplace insert, the baking chamber would hold, maybe, one Personal Pan Pizza.
