The financial mess and Obama's ability to raise money over the next month. Could the financial crisis negatively impact Obama's ability to raise campaign bucks over the next month?

1. I'll be donating twice as much.

Hopefully others do the same, realizing how important it is Barack is elected over McCrazy.

3. Interesting..however, i'd think it would SPIKE it since...

people would be more infuriated that things are going south and want to ensure we do get out of this mess before they finally do feel it in their wallets. Some times you need a crisis to shake people into action.

4. Thought about this today. Probably ok.

I listened to NPR asking for money today, and thought they would suffer ("what's a dollar a day?" they ask, on a day when their prime donors just lost thousands). But my feeling about donating to the campaign is different - just makes it more urgent to win. We're still giving.

You know, I dunno.

During the 1970s and 1980s, wasn't it the Democrats, liberals, and pre-primitives the ones always griping about the influence of money on political campaigns, and that it would be a good thing if money was less important?

Now, why is this such a good thing?

You know, a taxidermized stuffed primitive would make a great weather-vane.

Beats me how all these poor, poor people, so many who say they are on assistance, could be able to donate to so often.   Should Ohblowme win it's going to be a very sad affair on the Island when they're not all lifted to nirvana on earth and all the guns aren't thrown into the sea.

I guess we can worry about the possible financial impact on food banks, homeless shelters, faith-inspired charities, and the (politically) Red Cross later.  Obama Hussein is the important thing.  Hussein has dry cleaning bills, etc., to pay.

They'll tug on our nose rings if they need more money.

Only if they don't realize that we(dims) have been driving the bus.

A DUmmy and his money are soon parted.....as per the usual.

Yeah, but this is different.......and I don't know wheather I would want one for a weather vane are not.

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

NPR needs to be taken out back, shot through the head and mounted in a lifelike setting with some branches and fake water.

I dunno.

There aren't any weather vanes out here, and it'd be kind of handy to have one.

The problem being, the selection of primitives is so enormous one would find it a difficult choice.

Beats me how all these poor, poor people, so many who say they are on assistance, could be able to donate to so often.   Should Ohblowme win it's going to be a very sad affair on the Island when they're not all lifted to nirvana on earth and all the guns aren't thrown into the sea.

Here is a small equation to help you understand
Bob donates 0 dollars to B.O. x=o
Bob promises to double his donation to B.O. 2x=0

2x=0  x=0

(l) c=8 is more like it though.
All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.

Yeah, that's pretty much it, mom.

Thanks, mama.  Math isn't my strong suit, but I understood that example. :-)
