If ya get a chance, take a quick trip north of Indy on SR 31 to Grissom AFB.

There are a couple bars on the old (civilian) part of the base with a fairly decent hotel within staggering/crawling distance.

If you want to make a day of it, there is a golf course and an air museum on the old part of the base that is open to the public.

Unfortunatly, if it's on the weekend, I have to work. But you will find me in on of those 2 bars once I get off work. Just look for a biker to come strolling in after midnight! :beer:

Ok, peeps...are we doing this or what? Since Hack is fairly close, perhaps we should consider his suggestion since he knows his way about. Maybe the proximity to men in uniform could bag us jen and mia too :cheersmate: :-) I have to say that August is now NOT good for me since there are senior pics lined up every weekend and media day for the big NCAA school soon :uhsure: :-) :-)(Go bucks!) :uhsure:

Sept is more doable for me.

Indy is really close for me, but unfortunately with a newborn I won't be able to take off for a day or so... the wife would kill me for leaving her with the kid all alone.  :)

Chicago would be easier and more fun.  :)
