The Phightins are top's of the NL east

Any day you can rub New York fans faces in it, its a good day. I hope the stinking brew crew can knock the Mets out of the Playoffs all together. BRING ON THE CUBS

The Phightns will become the Phadins Tuesday or Wednesday.  The Mets are still in the mix.  :tongue:

You remember when everyone was telling us Milwaukee, Chicago, and New York were gonna knock us out of the playoff picture in late August &  September?  What happened in those games, praytell?   :cheersmate:

Schoeneweis just gave up a PH HR to Wes Helms in the top of the eighth.  Hopefully, the Wilpons will realize that it's the bullpen that ****ed them this year. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Only team that fades this time of year is the Mets :loser: you spend all that dough on a that pitcher (whats his name?) and you still might not make the playoffs

They deserved to lose.  Hopefully, the Wilpons will do something to have this not happen again.  I hope, in another vein, that they do lose some revenue from merchandise on the offseason, and realize that they actually have to put together a winning team to get fans.  Though, in the Mets' defense, their closer was gone for the last six to seven weeks of the season.  There's a few leads that they wouldn't have blown right there.
