9. Very true. By comparison, Eisenhower looks like a liberal next to today's Republicans
But he was behind several CIA operations in Latin America. He supported Cuba's dictator, Batista. The Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba was planned during Eisenhower's administration. The MCarthy hearings occurred under Eisenhower. After his terms were completed, he suggested the use of tactical nukes in Vietnam.

Eisenhower was a good general in WWII. He was a good leader of the Allied Forces in Europe. His presidential terms were mixed. He continued to publicly support the FDR reforms that were so popular. But he served the MIC that he spoke against in his departing speech

Notice how it says "thousands of refugees" and not "tens of millions for any flimsy pretext."
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Asylum for thousands of refugees, expellees, and displaced person(sic)

1. ASSuming this is not fake, KS Toronado did not read the meme. "Thousands" is not the millions of illegals that have flooded in.

2. ASSuming this is not fake, the R Party platform called for a Legal Process for these "refugees, expellees, and displaced person(sic), not open borders.

3. A text without context is a pretext. 1956 was very different from 2026 (Who knew?).

* In 1956, Dachau was still being used to house refugees. These would have been a mix of Germans displaced by WW2 bombing destruction and refugees fleeing Stalin's Eastern Europe.

* In 1956, the Hungarian revolution was underway, refugees.

* In 1956, there were still Koreans displaced by the recently ended war, plus other Koreans fleeing Kim I.

* In 1956, many Chinese were fleeing the monstrous Mao.

* In 2026, illegals are mostly persons looking for economic betterment, mixed with a few drug thugs and human traffickers.

"One of these is not the same."

Assure "equal pay for equal work regardless of sex"

KS Toronado admits the Rs were calling for this before it became a feminist issue? :rotf: More to the point, name an R who opposes this, KS Toronado.
