Impressive. Apparently Anna sees this strictly from her POV (How very progressive). To pursue her case in court would result in her feeling silly and strange for them being incarcerated.
Doing so can't un-do the damage to her. However preventing that damage from being repeated on someone else isn't as important as her anti-police/prison campaign.
What else would be expected from a Ivy League PHD candidate...
