The Complete Idiots guide to Trump for DUmmies
« on: Today at 12:29:42 PM »
For lurking DUers...

Back in the 90s, there were two series of books that tried to explain different subjects in simple terms. One was the “…for DUMMIES” books, and the other was the “Complete Idiots Guide to…” books. On Friday, while watching football games, I decided that, since I try to be a helpful and benevolent fictional spirit-guide, that for the benefit of the DumbAss lurkers, I’d try to give some insight on Trump AND, if I don’t get tired of typing, would try to explain why the DemonRats lost the presidential election. First, the Trump insight…

Sometime during Trump’s first term he said that he wanted something. I can’t remember what it was, but for the purpose of this discussion, that doesn’t matter. Anyway, my wife, who voted for Trump, said that she didn’t agree with him on what he wanted. I told her that Trump didn’t want that. Naturally, she replied with, “well, that’s what he said!” I told her that based on watching Trump, this is how he sometimes works…

Let’s say that you have a line of 100 extremely rare and valuable cedar trees that you totally adore. Trump sees them and comes to the conclusion that he’d like to transplant 25 out of the 100 onto his property. Now, he knows that you adore those trees and wouldn’t want to part with them so he’s apt to tell you that he wants to buy 75 or them. Naturally, you’ll tell him that there’s no way that you’re selling him any trees. In response, he may tell you that in that case he’ll just take all 100 of them, and he’ll say it with such confidence and bravado that it terrifies you. You decide that you can’t handle losing all of your beloved cedar trees so you offer him a two-for-one deal: if he’ll agree to buy 25, you’ll give him an additional 25 for free. In the end, by forcefully and confidently making you think that he’d just take all of your trees, he got what he really wanted (to buy 25) AND a bonus (25 more for free). He played you. In other words, only pay cursory attention to what he says, but pay very close attention to what he does.

Another piece of misdirection that he seems to use is similar to what magicians do. Let’s say that Trump wants to do what I’ll call “Thing A”, but he knows that the DemonRats will oppose and hinder whatever he wants to do so he boldly declares that he’s going to do “Thing B”. While the DemonRats put all of their energy and effort into preventing him from doing “Thing B”, he does what he really wanted to do: “Thing A”.

I’m sure that some will disagree with the above AND that I’ve oversimplified things, but I am trying to explain it so DUers (aka those with limited intellect) will understand.

Now, in my opinion, explaining the DemonRat election loss is fairly simple. The DemonRats, even with a candidate as flawed as the KnobGobbling Word Salad Chef, should have won the election. They had the most money to spend. They had the majority of the MSM and celebs to act as their propaganda arm. On top of that, they had all demonized both Trump and his supporters. The election should have been an easy win, but the DemonRats did two major things wrong. The first was saying a lot of stuff that normal, sane people know is BS. Things like men can get pregnant and that you can magically become a gender just by identifying as that gender. Their second wrong move was that they over reached. Instead of just one scam legal assault on Trump, they went with multiple scam legal assaults AND tried to keep him from even being on the ballot. Most of America roots for an underdog, and the DemonRats, with all of their overt dirty dealings, was able to make a billionaire alpha dog into an underdog. So there you go. Essentially, the DemonRats shot themselves in the foot.

For new members and lurkers: I am a fictional spirit-guide with no smell whatsoever. I am part irish setter and part pigeon. If you don't smell any strange smells it means I'm probably standing next to you. As I am a fictional character anything I post should possibly be considered fictional.
