GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) _ A 33-year-old woman was charged with stealing her daughter's identity to attend high school and join the cheerleading team.

Wendy Brown, of Green Bay, was charged with felony identity theft after enrolling in Ashwaubenon High School as her daughter, who lives in Nevada with Brown's mother.

The criminal complaint said Brown admitted to telling school officials she was 15 because she wanted to get her high school diploma and join the cheerleading squad.

Kids must look mature in Wisconsin, I'd love to have passed for 17 at her age. 

We went out for dinner last night in Madison and I realized that my 14 YO daughter had about 5-6 inches on most of the college girls scurrying around.

I mean no offense to anyone who happened to be a cheerleader, but there whole reason for being is flawed.
