A random study by the EPA revealed that employees of bottled water companies are not tested for disease, nor are they required to avoid the bottling area if they are sneezing from colds or have open cuts or infections on their hands.

Oh the outrage!!

Here's a random fact for you that I'll bet you won't talk about on DU:

Did you know if you are positive for HIV/AIDS in California you don't have to tell your sexual partner and if they catch it from you, you can't be held liable, unless they've changed that.

And don't give me any BS about how the bottled water people could infect more people.  Not after the lies that were told after/during covid.

I'm not a purchaser of bottled water, nor to I have a need to denigrate anyone who does. I.E. I have no bottle in this stream.

That said, does Different Drummer really imagine that water-bottling is not a closed system? Does (s)he imagine that company employees stand over open tanks of water or hand-fill bottles from manually operated taps?

The thread was posted ~12 hours ago, just 4 Replies, none pointing out the grossly obvious flaw in the OP claim. Did Coca-Cola (= Dasani) or Perrier do something to PO DU-Denizens?
