<snip>
US Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama may be struggling to nudge ahead of his Republican rival in polls at home, but people across the world want him in the White House, a BBC poll said.

All 22 countries covered in the poll would prefer to see Senator Obama elected US president ahead of Republican John McCain.

In 17 of the 22 nations, people expect relations between the US and the rest of the world to improve if Senator Obama wins.

Well there's a shocker. :sarcasm: Duh.
"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened."
-- Norman Thomas, six-time Socialist Party presidential candidate and one of the founders of the ACLU

I know the 57 states of the OIC sure are looking forward to it.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

2004 repeats.  Wasn't it September of 2004 when the press was pushing how Kerry was the choice of those mental giants in Europe?  Wasn't it Septmber 2004 when the Little Goons wanted to know why Europeans don't get a say in our presidential elections?

2. If only the U.S. Voter was as Politically Educated as rest of the world

Well then maybe you should go and live in one of those "Politically Educated" Countries.  :bird:

I think this is just a temporary bounce from the messiah's campaign swing through Germany. We may not be able to make up that 82 point gap in Kenya (after all, Obama is a favorite son), but we're only down by 9 in India, and you know how many electoral votes they have!

Maybe there is just something about most decent Americans that just make us thumb our nose at the  rest of the world.  They wanted Kerry, we gave them Bush. They want Obama, we'll give them Palin, er, I mean McCain. We don't like being told what to do by the Europeans, that's what that whole silly war was about, in the 1700's.

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

Who am I kidding.  I would give them Del Rio if they would take Obama with them.

The world was pretty enamored with Hitler, Stalin, and Mao too.

Hmmm. So the very world who longs for a neutered and cowering United States hopes Obama wins? Who woulda thunk it?

There's a '2+2=4' in there, but the DUmmies are too "intelligent" to see it.

That must be the 57 states BroBama was talking about?
