demtenjeep- rewatching The West Wing
« on: July 06, 2022, 06:29:51 AM »
So it seems that things are going a little slow over at the Island. Perhaps its the early morning hour. Im guessing the primitives just went to bed. This was posted at 1:49 A.M. Island time.

I couldn't watch more crap news so I started rewatching west wing

God such a great show

How I wish it were real

Uh huh. Maybe try a hobby. Like quilting.

At this point, it almost becomes a watch party. But, reliving the past. Favorite characters and their punchy punch lines that put it to the conservatives.

11. Yesterday, I watched Hamilton on Disney+

Not sure why this DU grade prog. need to chime in. But it did. And I dont know which is more disgusting. Hamilton or Disney Plus.

13. "How I wish it were real."

Me, too.

The West Wing and Downton Abbey are my television version of comfort food. I've watched both so many times I have the dialogue pretty much memorized.

Why is it that the feeble prog. has such a love for the British Royalty? Is it the fact that the average DUmp member hates America, the beautiful? Resentment that we declared our independence from the Crown, and kicked their asses doing it? A need to be controlled?

Then the unhealthy obsession with the show, The West Wing. You folks really need to join the real world.  :loser:

Because nothing says 'True Patriot' like watching a tv show about an imaginary administration with make-believe characters.

When it was still on the air, hundreds of DUmmies sported "Santos/McGarry" avatars and sig lines. They can't separate fiction from reality.

If you can't win in reality, write works of fiction in which you do win.  :-)

That show is written by the drug addicted liberal asshole Aaron Sorkin, whose calling card is the long-winded, self-righteous rant. Because the people reciting his long-winded, self-righteous rants are liberals who are portraying liberals, West Wing is basically gonzo porn for Democrats. Only a liberal woman leaves a puddle after hearing some actor prattle on about rights of the homeless on a TV show from almost 20 years ago. Like most porn addicts, DUmmies would rather watch than participate, which is why they never DO anything about the issues they allegedly care about.

You'd think that after a long West Wing session, Pam would get up, wash her hands, apply a wet washrag, pull on her Depends and slip a spare in her expensive purse, and go out to make a difference. Nope: she lays there waiting for the tape to rewind as her dog licks her fingers.

     Gross.

Which is where the Mary Sue character type originated.

So, more than retiring from teaching school, she's retiring from reality. West Wing, as far as I can tell, was a sort of, "The Way I Think Things Ought to Be," Lib-Fantasy (had "Progressive" been dragged out of history and been recycled yet when the show was on the air?).
