Seriously, why is DU losing its freaking mind over Palin?
There's been more scorn, ridicule, and vitriol against Palin than I've seen against McCain (the actual candidate) and probably more than against Bush and Cheney.

"anti-intellectual" and "racist."  But a socialist horror-show of a woman who rode her philandering husband's coattails to stardom and carpet-bagged herself a Senate seat based on name recognition alone is a feminist icon.

There is a simple truth to it - Palin dissolves The lefts portrayal of the Republicans - so much so that they will have to reinvent their entire catalog of smear devices. There is another truth. If Palin were pro-choice and a Democrat they would be totally in love with her. And thats what they hate the most.
