In my opinion, the Lee-Roy texts are devastating for Trump and allies defense.

https://www.cnn.com/2022/04/15/politics/mike-lee-chip-roy-text-messages-jan-6-mark-meadows-overturn-election/index.html

In a series of texts to Meadows on November 7, Lee offered his "unequivocal support for you to exhaust every legal and constitutional remedy at your disposal to restore Americans faith in our elections."

Lee went on: "This fight is about the fundamental fairness and integrity of our election system. The nation is depending upon your continued resolve. Stay strong and keep fighting Mr. President."

Also on November 7, Roy wrote to Meadows, "We need ammo. We need fraud examples. We need it this weekend."

"We're driving a stake in the heart of the federal republic," Roy texted Meadows on January 1. That text was first released in December by the House select committee and described as being written by a House Freedom Caucus member. Roy's authorship has not been previously reported.

While Lee and Roy both voted to certify the electoral results in favor of Biden, more than 100 of their GOP colleagues in both the House and Senate did not. Chief among them were Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas and Josh Hawley of Missouri, both of whom Lee called out in his texts to Meadows.

1. not likely

From what I read about this and in this post they asked for all legal and constitutional remedies which is ok. But then they appear to back off. Roy texted this "We're driving a stake in the heart of the federal republic," Roy texted Meadows on January 1." Is he saying to stop questioning the election or keep fighting. Not sure what he means.

3. Most of the GOP involved in plot to overthrow the election.

No theory necessary. The criminal conspiracy is on tape, in memoranda, shared via text, and found just about every where one searches a record of conveyance.

These traitors need to be on trial, not voting to obstruct justice or to exonerate Dimdonnie Pisswig.

Comparable to the false Russian collusion "Barbra Streisand", the leftists and media (but I repeat myself) just have to obsess over yet another nothing burger.  One of these days, Charlie Brown will kick that football.  But it ain't happening with January 6th.

“Every legal and Constitutional remedy” is devastating, alright, devastating to Pelosiroo’s Kangaroo Kourt 1/6 Kommittee, and her pet RINOs, too.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

  • (D)Ummie nightmare.
The DUmmy may as well just have posted 'my opinion is worthless and not indicative of observable objective reality'.
"Be not intimidated... nor suffer yourselves to be wheedled out of your liberties by any pretense of politeness, delicacy, or decency. These, as they are often used, are but three different names for hypocrisy, chicanery and cowardice." - John Adams

The bluegrass primitive has had many things explained to him lately in ways that even his simple mind can understand. He continues to believe falsehoods. His problem. As long as he says kooky things that entertain us, that’s his purpose in life, which has also been explained to him.

4. If this is an "intent" thing though...
The texts show that at least these two Republicans (among likely many others) were indeed pushing for legal and constitutional remedies, but then backed off when they realized there was no path to overturning the election.

So the damaging aspect of the texts is that the White House had Republican congressmen telling them to STOP right before January 6 because there was no path forward -- but the White House deliberately ignored this advice and pressed on.

The fact that Roy told Meadows, "We're driving a stake in the heart of the federal republic," right before Trump sent rioters to attack the Capitol Building shows that the White House knew what the stakes were and proceeded anyway.

And Lord Marblehead doesn’t help the situation by being as much, if not more stupid, than his membership.

Well that makes 0.0000000001% of the American population that agrees with you DUchebag.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
