Like clockwork, the first Friday of the month brought another blockbuster jobs report. The U.S. economy under President Joe Biden added another 400,000-plus new jobs in March, it was announced last week.
Biden is currently on pace, during his first two full years in office, to oversee the creation of 10 million new jobs and an unemployment rate tumbling all the way down to 3 percent. That would be an unprecedented accomplishment in U.S. history. Context: In four years in office, Trump lost three million jobs, the worst record since Herbert Hoover.
Yet the press shrugs off the good news, determined to keep Biden pinned down. “The reality is that one strong jobs report does not snap the administration out of its current circumstances,” Politico stressed Friday afternoon. How about 11 straight strong job reports, would that do the trick? Because the U.S. economy under Biden has been adding more than 400,000 jobs per month for 11 straight months.
The glaring disconnect between reality and how the press depicts White House accomplishments means a key question lingers: Why is the press rooting against Biden? Is the press either hoping for a Trump return to the White House, or at least committed to keeping Biden down so the 2024 rematch will be close and ‘entertaining’ for the press to cover? Is that why the Ginni Thomas insurrection story was politely marched off the stage after just a few days of coverage last week by the same news outlets that are now in year three of their dogged Hunter Biden reporting? (“ABC This Week” included 19 references to Hunter Biden yesterday.)

And remember all winter how the press treated Covid as the most important “crisis” Biden faced and hung the pandemic around his neck? Today, the topic has vanished, the press has given the White House no credit for steering the country back to normalcy, and instead has latched onto gas prices as being a defining issue under Biden. The buried Covid coverage represents a telling example of how an issue that the press itself claimed would define the Biden administration gets translated into no news when it turns towards positive territory.
The Beltway press needs to take its thumb off the Biden scale.
The DUmmies and apparently this talking head, seem to believe that most Americans do not see that "400k new jobs" added aren't new jobs... they're just the COVID jobs coming back. I admin my circle may be a bit biased, but most everyone I know simply sees this as a "return" of pre-pandemic levels.
I really chuckle at the last part about the COVID recovery credit. The DUmp is constantly whining about how we are returning to normal way too soon, and that it is going to be all death, doom and gloom, why aren't mask mandates everywhere, why aren't people forcibly vaxed etc etc... but make sure Biden gets credit.... Even though most of us know that the return to normalcy was mostly just Americans ignoring the government BS requirements, so the governments just decided to declare victory and drop mandates etc...

The press is rightfully criticized for going easy on a Republican, and makes up for it by being hypercritical of the succeeding Democrat. How else could people know they are fair?

Good Lord, somebody get a rope. I'm sure someone can find a $6 or $7 price sign in California to offset my example.
Point is, the price of gas is set by the industry, not the White House. Point is, perhaps lowering taxes on low income and middle America can compensate for the increase paid at the pump.
Nobody likes inflation...that has to pay for the increases. Profits are up, and wages have risen in nearly the same measure, but I'm beating a dead horse here. Inflation is happening AROUND THE WORLD...not just in the USA.
Unemployment is down to 3.6%...pretty ****ing amazing! And yet listening to the reich wing (who have ZERO ideas for how to control inflation or high gas prices) and the corporate news/propaganda ratings whores, you would think all that ails the nation...and world, is Joe Biden's fault. Just vote gQp, and everything will be better. How utterly pathetic! "Just set the house on fire if the toilet springs a leak."
2022 is an election year. The gQp and their hoard of pilferers and snake oil salesmen and sluts are chewing at the bit. Give them the reins, and return to gridlock and the glory days of tRumpf like you righteously deserve. It's time to put up, or shut up.
We either fight back and vote with overwhelming numbers...or we are ****ed for AT LEAST a generation. Give mcCarthy and turtlehead the gavel and control of the Senate, and we are in for at least two years of painful hell...and possibly the next four after that.
Find a 6 or 7 dollar sign in California? Hell they are all over the damned place out here. Costco prices were 5.59 for the cheap stuff... SO YEAH, DUmmie... people are pissed at the gas prices, and the costs of everything going up... BECAUSE OF BIDEN'S Policies!

25. Biden's press coverage turned negative and stayed that way when he pulled us out of Afghanistan.
The media in this country is just a cog in the military industrial machine. And the machine doesn’t like what Biden did. He spoiled their lovely little 20 year war.
This DUmmie is another extra special one... The coverage was negative re Afghanistan because it was such a colossal **** UP, an ABSOLUTE FUSTERCLUCK. I am actually surprised that the media was as honest as they were about that, and they still gave him kid glove treatment compared to what they would've done had it been Trump in office.

These idiots keep trying to liken Biden to FDR. The obvious comparison is Carter... in SO MANY WAYS, and hopefully Biden will be 1 and done too.
There were a few other comments about the "corporate media" etc... It literally has me here just shaking my head.
