Through gerrymandering, voter suppression, and laws in some states that let state Republican legislatures decide who "won" an election, we're going to lose the House next year. And that will make it a lot easier for the thugs to steal the Senate and the presidency in 2024. It seems to me, and many, many others, that this scenario is coming at us like a freight train. And if you disagree, I'd like to hear your reasoning.

The next paragraph may well get this post locked. But it really needs to be said ... and HEARD.

I'm beyond pissed at our party leaders and our president. Our country is being brazenly raped and murdered, in broad daylight, by malignant barbarians, and they're doing ... either nothing, or not much. Maybe Merrick Garland is doing stuff behind the scenes. Who knows?

By the way, the headline to this OP is the last line of T.S. Eliot's poem, "The Hollow Men."

you are going to lose next year, but that's not why you are going to lose.

and on the subject of gerrymandering, the brandon administration is doing this right before our own eyes when he flies planeloads of illegal aliens into red states and installs future democrat voters into areas where they are not invited.

Their concerns about election integrity are touching. It hints at the serious problem. We will never reach any common ground when the news we digest comes from polar opposite viewpoints.
We can't avoid the NYT filtered news because it's everywhere. They can, and do easily avoid the few sources we depend on.  What gets me if they would just look around and see how damn near everything is falling apart vs. when Trump was calling the shots they'd.......But, they won't.
