Let’s go, Brandon! — the backstory
This whole thing got started earlier this month, at the Talladega Superspeedway. Brandon Brown had just won a NASCAR race. And sportscaster Kelli Stavast at one point commented during an interview with Brown afterward how the crowd seemed to be chanting in his honor: ‘Let’s go, Brandon!”

Unfortunately, that’s not actually what they were chanting. Not even close. The crowd was very clearly addressing President Biden, not Brandon. Only, with an f-bomb in front of his name instead of “Let’s go!”

8. some assholes at some event (NASCAR race?) were shouting **** Joe Biden. An announcer thought they were saying Let's Go Brandon. Now that phrase has come to mean **** Joe Biden in assholeian.

It was a very obvious attempt to cover up what was clearly being said.
It made the announcer look foolish, and thus became a cult classic.
We heard it chanted last week at the Perdue vs Wisconsin football game.

Thanks for the great idea.  For a few years I have had the hotspot on my phone named "Trump is your President" and will sometimes turn it on when near a Starbucks to annoy liberals sipping their lattes there (I know, I can be a child sometimes.  Also have a VPN and strong password on my hotspot to prevent intrusion) .

But now I'm changing the name to "Let's Go Brandon!".  good times

Yesterday I was driving on a four lane divided stretch of Wisconsin state highway 13 just north of Marshfield when a guy who was passing me hesitated alongside of me and motioned for me to roll down my window.  I rolled it down and he yelled out how much he loved my LET'S GO BRANDON and my I MISS TRUMP bumperstickers.  We exchanged thumbs ups and hearty laughs and then he went on his way with a shout of let's go Brandon.  It made my day and his too, I think.

     If a HIGH SCHOOL football game can get a LGB chant going, I think that bodes extremely poorly for the Democrats in upcoming elections. Normally, I'd be delighted about that because it would mean that very smart Democrat strategists would be devising ways to parry it, and I like when they are on their heels. But there are no more very smart Democrat strategists, and there haven't been any since I was a teenager. Instead, the "very smart" Dem activists are plotting a few sarcastic remarks by late night hosts and are teaching Joy Reid to pronounce a couple of new words. So I'm delighted anyway, just for a different reason.

     Liberals, think this over for a second: news sources used to be aimed at all Americans, and all Americans watched them and generally took them seriously. Since you people took that medium over about 25-30 years ago, you've gotten so shrill that you've winnowed your audience to your true believers only. Yet you continue to delude yourself that taking Joy Reid off your cotton fields and putting her on TV speaks "truth to power." Nope. It speaks "bullshit to idiots." That's why your media strategies don't work, and that's why you need to print Democrats using the southern border printing press. It won't work, and you know it.

14. Yeah it's everywhere

I saw two pumpkins at separate houses carved last night that said "Let's Go Brandon". I was also over my brother's house last weekend and was watching my nephew play this game. In the chat there were people typing "Let's Go Brandon". I asked him if he knew what that meant and he did. He's middle school though so not really too surprising there.
