Is anyone as disturbed as I am RE the future of America?
« on: September 29, 2021, 06:12:58 PM »
I used to watch Fox any spare moment I could get.. not a big fan these days... since the AZ fiasco and etc.. but I did learn an awful lot.. miss having tht much time to watch  news.. but anyhow..

The more i learned (and I read a lot also.. non-fiction... The Russia Hoax, Pirro's book... etc) the more disturbed I got

IMO the country is GONE since Jan 6

the president is... NOT the president

the real president has been ousted

and few seem to CARE that that kind of thing is not supposed to happen in a great country, one that had a more/less noble beginning that is supposed to be based on the Constitution..

(another thing that is GONE more/less)

If someone doesn't do soemthing to get these crazy people outa here... out of govt...

I don't even know how to finish that sentence...

just wondering what your level of Disturbed is.. on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being about to go live in the desert as a hermit for the re st of your life

The republican party alienated me during the 2nd Bush Era. I'm at the point where I've pulled up my lawn chair and watching the house burn.

A lot of people care and are disturbed.  On a scale of 1 to 10 from my personal experience:

9 Cuban Missile  Crisis
8 1968 Rebellion
7 9/11

I would put today's situation at about 8-1/2.

Our only viable option now is to win at the ballot box.  This will require election reform, election scrutiny and massive turnout.  Exposing the 2020 Election Steal is essential; it is (slowly) moving forward on many fronts.  We have a potential BIG VICTORY today if we kill the Biden agenda in Congress; I an very concerned but cautiously optimistic.

It is NOT lock and load time.  Any attempt at a real insurrection will be ruthlessly put down and we will be left with a 100% totalitarian, martial law government.  All of the so-called militias are filled with over enthusiastic morons and FBI agents.  Stay away.

Anything can happen.  Do as much backup emergency prepping as you are able.  Stay safe, stay armed and God Bless America.

As much as the dems piss me off, one of the things that concerns me the most is how disheartened some conservatives seem to be, and the prospect of them staying home because they think we can't win. The only people who are happy about that are democrats.

The GOP has the opportunity TODAY to show that they are worth voting for.

NO on the debt limit. NO on infrastructure. NO on the 3-1/2 trillion. NO on the CR.

I agree, though that's a bit of a different matter. If the GOP people in congress aren't doing their job, get them out. Ordinary GOP candidates for president weren't cutting it, so we elected Trump.

silver lining. IF the Democrats manage to enact their agenda, they will lose in a landslide in 2022/24.

sometimes you need a Carter to get a Reagan.

A lot of people are still motivated by something to vote FOR ... not the lesser of two evils.  If Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell can't control their caucus on something as important as this they need to be replaced in their leadership positions.

Also, some of the consequences of these bills are IRREVERSIBLE, remember:

The Great Society isn't going anywhere.
The Department of Education isn't going anywhere.
Roe v Wade isn't going anywhere.
ObamaCare isn't going anywhere.
We're never getting the Panama Canal back.

Two years of utter hell for working Americans isn't a "silver lining".  Since the election, natural gas $3 to well over $5, ditto for gasoline.  People who live paycheck to paycheck are gonna be singing "Baby it's cold INSIDE" soon.  Break out the Ramen Noodle cookbook.

HUH?   The 2020 elections showed that they can cheat at will and no one will do anything. The courts were the last resort and they did nothing.
