Recall a bet I made in 2004 with a Democrat acquaintance about the Obama/Alan Keyes U.S. Senate election in Illinois.  I predicted that Keyes would get 30% of the vote.  Sadly he only got around 28% and the 0bummer was on the fast track to the White House after the U.S. Senate.

That wager cost me a $4 beer.
