I know I'm beating this to death but I find it hard to believe that Cuomo would reach into a woman's blouse and fondle her breast as the most recent accuser claimed.

With the me_too movement so recent and the forcing out of Al Franken, I just don't think he'd be that dumb.

I could be wrong, but I still say investigate, investigate, investigate and let the chips fall where they may. If the allegations are proven, he must go. If not proven he survives like Joe Biden did against Tara Reade's lies.

Due process, no resignation. Complete the investigation. Have we learned nothing from the Al Franken force out?

2. People with power do a lot of stupid stuff and get away with it. But I want an investigation.

I think everyone deserves due process. Unless like Trump many of his crimes are on video tape or text.

3. So much, it's starting to sound like it's a framing/rigging ... a Swift Boat of sorts. n/t

59. Oh, yeah? Five of his Democratic staffers decided to frame him?

Plus the one woman pictured at the party?

Get real.

6. What if...

the investigation boils down to she said/he said? That's very likely what the result will be.

With multiple accusers and a picture of him with his hands on a woman's face, I'm convinced. Some men think they're entitled to do things like that...it's no big deal. They also think they won't get caught. Plus, he was abusive of his staff in non-sexual ways. He obviously felt his power of them gave him permission to act out.

This is not Al Franken. It's more like Bill Cosby without the drugs.

Targeted attacks.

15. Why?

Powerful people, especially men, think that nothing they do is wrong. I don't care what YOU know is wrong, they don't see it that way. Maybe some of the accusations are being embellished. I can accept that. But I also know that underlying it is the sense that it will be accepted because of the larger behavior.

Obama never had any of these problems because there was never any belief that he'd do it, much less get away with it. (Michelle woulda killed him). Cuomo on the other hand has the problem that it is believable, in the larger knowledge of who he is. Does that mean that every accusation is true? No. Franken's problems was that because of his former occupation and behavior as a comedian, the accusations could be seen as valid. Heck, they had photos. Does that mean he did anything wrong? No. Cuomo on the other hand should have known better and if 1/3 of it is anywhere close to "true", what the heck was he thinking?

18. it's like a Roger Stone

orchestration. I don't know what the deal is, but it's being deployed and amplified by someone who knows what they're doing.

35. So these women, who are Democrats, are all lying? Is that right? Bribed by the rethugs?

24. The media's double standards are sickening.

Was watching MTP Sunday ... on the roundtable they were very negative about Cuomo, and one Repub woman even called him a sex pest and said we must have decency in gov't. Said nothing about Trump's lifetime of accusations against him, none of them iirc brought it up, making it look like Dems were the more unethical party.

The AG needs to investigate this issue. But it does seem suspicious that nothing has ever come out about Cuomo (aside from him being perceived as a bully, which I don't agree with as he's mild mannered for NY politics which are hardball) but suddenly when political rivals on both the right and left want his governors seat (election coming up in 2022) the knives come out. Just feels similar to the way a parade of women suddenly emerged against Biden in the primaries when all his life he had no accusations. Feels very swiftboat-y.

42. Unfortunately Roger Stone and others may be involved.

This feels exactly like what happened to Al Franken.
We need to be clear on something: while women deserve to be heard and supported dirty tricksters can line up victims easily--even Democrats. If bribes don't work threats do and it is not above Trump's circle to threaten women's livelihoods and families.

58. I find it hard to believe that 5 Democratic women, all staffers of his,

would make up stories of his behaving inappropriately with them.

And this last woman was discovered because she broke down at a staff meeting, but she doesn't want her name known. So she can't be accused of doing it for the publicity.

I do believe Cuomo was that stupid. He'd spent a lifetime getting away with being handsy, and so he thought he could.

I want an investigation into the deaths that occurred at nursing homes and other assisted living facilities. Deaths that occurred because Cuomo the Killer sent infectious people to live among those most likely to die.

It’s safe to say that between liberals attacking Tara Reade and now defending Cuomo that the #metoo movement is officially dead. Of course, liberals won’t recognize that it’s dead until much, much later, but it’s officially dead.

They will revive it when they need it in a year or two.
