The (made-up)issue has been bubbling on the proggy back burner for a while. Some of the few remaining conservatives on Twitter are having fun posting Kamala Harris and Michelle Obama tweets from years past celebrating the good doctor. The whole thing is a fine example of leftist pragmatism and doublethink. The Lorax is their environmentalist hero when convenient, but don't dare use Horton's "a person's a person, no matter how small" to refer to an unborn baby. Push the books to pretend that they want people to be artsy and imaginative, (proggies don't, they want you just smart enough to push the buttons in their factories, and your dreams limited to what they are willing to give you), but shoot them down for not covering centuries of different cultures in each and every illustration, and cause Dr. Seuss made some evil racist propaganda art for the WWII effort.
