It's time to take to the streets and call for the resignation of the postmaster general now!
This BS can't continue to go on. As the Votevets ad points out, many folks are not getting their prescriptions and we know he is trying to steal the election.
Another outright lie from the left.

2. I wrote to my republican congressman yesterday
About the post office, I didn't say I was a democrat, i was real sweet just worried about getting our medicine as we are seniors.
I was surprised since I know he is a Trumper he was very sweet to me and told me money was in the cares act for it. Which makes me wonder since he is retiring this year if he was going to vote for it. And he must have known when he wrote that, that Trump wouldn't vote for it.
His name is Greg Walden from southern oregon.
He also thinking I am stupid told me the post office is in debt and struggling for years. It is not in debt except for what his people did to it. I am sure he thinks I knew nothing about it.
He reassured me they are keeping the rural offices open.
What that told me was a few things the republicans do care about losing older people's votes because of this.

The Postal Service carried billion-dollar surpluses for many years before the Internet became widely available to Americans.
Although the Postal Service lost money in the early part of the decade, in 2001 and 2003, the most significant losses came after the passage of a 2006 law requiring the agency to refund retiree health beneļ¬ts.
Under the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act of 2006, the USPS is required to pay $5.4 billion to $5.8 billion annually, through 2016, to pay for future retiree health benefits.Star Member elleng (99,195 posts)
3. Thanks for the effort, and for the info.
As to 'keeping rural offices open,' wonder where he got that from.
Probably from the Post Office
USPS to Keep Rural Post Offices Open
https://www.cnbc.com/id/47357366 (in 2012, btw)
At a news briefing, Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe said the mail agency was backing off its plan to close up to 3,700 low-revenue post offices sometime after May 15. Citing strong community opposition, Donahoe said the agency will now whittle down full-time staff but maintain a part-time post office presence in rural areas, with access to retail lobbies and post office boxes.Democracy2020 (10 posts)
