Based on that comment, I support the electric chair being used when trump is finally convicted of treason, since it's clearly the method that bothers him the most.

This Hot Air post by "Allahpundit" - who is close to a Never-Trumper - embeds PBS' video the news conference in which Trump made the comment. It is cued up to where discussion of Ukraine starts, and the context for the "electric chair" comment begins around 15:43. I transcribed the comment, with context, but you can see/hear it for yourself as well:

... Joe Biden and his son are corrupt. But the fake news doesn't want to report it, because they're Democrats. If that ever happened ... If a Republican ever did what Joe Biden did, if a Republican ever said what Joe Biden said they'd be getting the electric chair by right now. Look at the double standard. You people ought to be ashamed of yourselves, not all ...

So, unsurprisingly, Star Member DemocratSinceBirth lied. One can discuss whether Trump resorted to hyperbole in regard to what would happen to his hypothetical R, or whether Trump used metaphor for how the MSM would treat Trump's hypothetical R, but Trump did not say anything remotely resembling "Biden should get the electric chair". Since Trump was calling out MSM double standards, I think "they'd be getting the electric chair" is probably a metaphor for what the MSM would do.

But either way, unsurprisingly, Star Member DemocratSinceBirth lied.
