pretty much every movie made before 2003 could never be made today. Every book ever written...Pretty much every comedian would never be allowed on a DU stage... See Dave Chappelle.
Shakespeare? Nope. Homer? Nope. Western Culture since... oh, I don't know... the beginning of time?
Nope.
Most of your friends are extreme leftist SJWs. Of course they won't like Dave Chappelle.... well... not anymore anyway...

I wholeheartedly agree, and was just thinking of that a day or two ago:
It occurred to me that the awesome Sylvester Stallone/ Wesley Snipes/ Sandra Bullock movie 'Demolition Man' would never be made/ greenlit today, for a number of reasons:
1. Its main hero is a white man, and its main villain is black. Furthermore, in one scene when the villain's criminal record is examined, it's revealed that he was convicted of, among other things, rape. Every liberal website would be champing at the bit to accuse the filmmakers of racism.
2. The film is a truly brilliant look at the sort of despotic oppression disguised as "For your own good" benevolence that the Democrats would seek to impose on America if they got enough power. In fact, many of the things that are portrayed as illegal in that film's depiction of the future are things that the Democrats today are openly waging war on (i.e. Tobacco, meat, salt, firearms). Liberal Hollywood would never let that kind of film be released.
3. Denis Leary's character in the film at one point gives this magnificent monologue which can be seen as representing the mindset of an American conservative:

As for Dave Chappelle, I find it VERY ironic that the same leftists who in the early 2000s were singing his praises for making 'Chappelle's Show,' which heavily demeaned women and portrayed white people in an unbelievably racist manner (Complete with Chappelle at times appearing in whiteface and talking in a stereotypical "Lame, dorky white guy" voice), are now leaping at the opportunity to crucify him.
