Are you able to ignore the the right-wing noise machine?
People like Limbaugh and Hannity?

People like Donald Trump?

Or do you allow yourself to be pre-occupied with their bullshit?

I will admit that it is hard to ignore Donald Trump because he is always yelling and saying outlandish BS.

But, sometimes you have to compartmentalize. You have to put them in a back drawer and give yourself a break.

And you tell yourself it is for your own mental well-being?

Or do you enjoy being in their face every day? All day long?

Just think about how you are depriving them of the attention they crave? They need the attention like roaches need darkness.

Are you able to put them in a compartment and keep them there for as long as you like? I am working on it.

2. I listen to none of them - no TV for 10 years, essentially no radio.

I get the news from DU but don't watch clips - video or audio. Can't do it to myself. I've put essentially all media in a big, sturdy box and locked it up.

My attempts for positive change are by sharing and teaching gardening, positive things.

5. I never willingly listen to Limbaugh or Fox

But I do belong to another forum where Democrats and members of the KGOP engage in debate. If I don't watch it, I become completely enraged. So, right now I'm taking a break from that place just for my own sanity. Trumpers believe in the most bizarre things. Like they think witches are actually real and they're infesting all the colleges and universities. Say what?  That's the sort of people who support tRump. God help us all.

Trump trolls the truth - e.g. Baltimore, Cummings, Farrakhan - and the Dems and their MSM shills take his bait, they try to deny reality.

That is not an ear.  That is a a sphincter anus and it is firmly planted for a self lower intestine check. Hell maybe the DUchebag is checking his tonsils the hard way... long way.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

"If I DON'T watch it I become completely enraged."  Let's assume that the author meant "If I watch it..."  What enrages this person?  The possibly logical debate from the Conservatives, the losing blather from the DEMS?  That somebody does not believe in e.g. killing babies or other Communist agenda items to ruin America?

However, if we take the statement at face value, the author means that the debate acts as a catharsis, a safety-valve for his normal state of being enraged!

I rather like that second interpretation!  :-)

The DUmmie's phrasing left me confused as well but I think if you insert the word 'myself' into it (ie, If I don't watch myself, I become completely enraged) that it more accurately describes what the Hilly Ass was trying to convey.

I could very well be mistaken, however, since it is always risky to assign any hint of lucidity to a member of the DUmp.

Very similar to the phrase "no motive is yet known" when the most recent lunatic kills his family or invades a post office, etc.

The guy is a lunatic!  His "Motive" will not make any sense, and therefore is worthless.  I was taught that a criminal prosecution never needs to prove anything about a "motive," which is considered irrelevant, despite the T.V. shows and their insistence on adding "motive" to the plot.  (Or has that changed?)

Lucidity is indeed extinct among the TDS sufferers!   O-)

Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.
