Great...so it's Senator Bankruptcy Bill of 2005...

I will grant that Senator BBo05 has on crucial ability for the campaign, the ability to serve as an "attack dog." And the choice is at least not as bad as Gore picking Holy Joe.

But, I have to wonder: how the hell can our campaign have any credibility in its promise to bring positive change for the average American when the ticket includes the most well-known toady of the credit-card and finance industry, and the prime Democratic mover behind the law that has done more than any other to turn middle- and working-class Americans into the indentured servants of JPMorgan Chase, Citibank, BofA, Capital One, etc., etc.?

3. This is not "constructive criticism".
Hopefully someone will do the needful.

Yes!  We must silence criticism of the State our candidates!

15. What kind of "constructive criticism" do you want...?
The only one I can offer is "Obama, rescind your offer and pick someone who can do us some good"...and that's not gonna happen.

52. The kind that doesn't slam the ticket.
Either get on board, temper your displeasure, or don't post.

4. So... what do you see happening to this campaign as a result of this vote?
I'm guessing that that's your concern, not just that you wanted to slam Biden. And puke.

13. What I see as the danger happening to this campaign...
...is exactly what I stated above: that any message of change in the current "class warfare" in this country (i.e. the wealthy versus everyone else, with only the first group allowed to fight) will be completely vitiated by Senator Bankruptcy Bill's eager participation in the most blatant example of that class war, and the one that has caused more pain to average Americans than any other.

Seriously, it's like picking Holy Joe while running on a "get out of Iraq now" ticket -- insane.

Oh, I'll vote for the top of the ticket this November, just as I did for Gore in 2000. But I simply do not see how this pick will improve our chances in the general...and, in fact, may well do the exact opposite.

7. Biden has been called a DINO on this board many times...
... I think people who use that term are the real DINOS.

41. Biden will not be running the show...
this is not Bush/Cheney part 2. Obama will make his own d**n decisions, with input from Biden and other advisors. Having someone that doesn't always agree with you is a good thing. Yet at the same time, they genuinely like each other and Biden will stand up for Barack against the deluge of right wing attacks during this campaign. He will launch a lot of witty, funny, and outright TRUE attacks on McNopoly during this campaign. It's going to be fun to watch.

Honestly, I preferred Biden over Obama for President in my brain, although in my heart I chose to support Obama in the primaries. Like it or not, we all fall prey to voting with our heart at times. In my case, I am extremely anti-war and I am also young. Obama appeals to both of those.

33. He didn't just vote for it, he actively pushed for it...
Let's face it, Biden was known as "the senator from MBNA" (before they got swallowed up by JPMorgan Chase) for years, and was always thought of as ready to do the finance companies' bidding (at the expense of average Americans) on every issue. This is not something newly-discovered.

This guy is clearly a Lousy Freeper Troll. No real DUmmy has any idea what "vitiated" means, let alone the ability to use it properly in a sentence.

True.  Typically they just create it by existing.
