WASHINGTON -- With the Senate voting to confirm Brett Kavanaugh as an associate justice of the Supreme Court, Christine Blasey Ford has no further plans to pursue her sexual misconduct allegations against Kavanaugh, according to her lawyers.

Ford only wanted to speak with members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, her attorneys told CNN on Friday. Ford does not want the situation to "drag on into the next Congress should Democrats end up winning control on Capitol Hill," the network reported.

When asked about the possibility of impeachment proceedings, attorney Debra Katz told the network: "Professor Ford has not asked for anything of the sort. What she did was to come forward and testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee and agree to cooperate with any investigation by the FBI, and that's what she sought to do here."

"She does not want him to be impeached?" CNN's Dana Bash later asked.

"No," Katz replied flatly.

She has no plans to make any kind of complaint to the law enforcement people with the legitimate jurisdiction to investigate her claims.

Wait........I thought she was "ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN!!" that Kavanaugh tried to assault her and wasn't fit to serve on the court.

Now, it's just "Meh, time to get back to flying around the world with no reservations at all." ?

Not to toot my own horn...but I posted here & at CU that no lib will remember her name very soon.  A useful tool, similar to Cindy Sheehan, Sandra Fluke, Anita Hill attention Hogg.  Disgusting folks...the libs, politicians & media.

I wonder if she'll get a job offer from Stanford, UC Berserkeley, or UC Santa Cruz for trying or left to stagnate at her obscure little university as a failure who's a bit "off".

Anita Hill is still a darling of the left.  She gets paid big $$$ on the lefty lecture circuit.
 
But I think this is strict self-preservation for ford.  She knows she has a minimum of 2 bald faced lies in her testimony -- lie detectors and fear of flying.  There may be more.  Also, if she doesn't slink away there is the very real possibility she will be sued by Kavanaugh, Judge and/or their families (the Judge door is still open).

And the right is far from done with her.  The who "little girl" voice thing is still out there and ford's life as a college party girl is going to be front and center in the coming weeks.

This was key to me in not believing her story.  If she was so positive and certain that Kavanaugh committed a sexual assault crime, why has she not now or plan in the future of making a police report of the incident.  As far as I know, the Statute of Limitations has not run out, so she can still move forward.  My thinking is that she fears the consequences of filing a false police report.

And if an real investigation is done and it finds out, as it must, that Ford lied in her complaint or impeachment testimony before Congress, then SHE gets to see the inside of the hoosegaw. Of COURSE Ford doesn't want to take it any farther. She's already guaranteed Time Magazine Person of the Year award, and will probably cash in upwards of 20 million bucks for the rest of her life in speaking fees, books, etc.

Frankly, if I were Kavanaugh, I'd sue the lying witch, but that's just me.

Since the context would be Stanford, Berserkeley, and Berserkeley-wannabe UC Santa Cruz (Angela Davis was a "professor" there for decades and last I heard was "emeritus"), probably lots.

Most definately, both need to be brought down a couple of pegs. And as for ford, she has raised over $500K on a go fund me page. I would like to see Kavanaugh sue her for all of it.

To be totally fair to her, it's got to be pretty clear even to her that going any further is just letting the DemonRat politicians use her as a sock puppet to be cast aside at whatever point they tire of her, whether she ends up ruined in the process or not.  Better to get oout on her own terms and at her own time.
