Yet another bar Bouncy

So I had an extremely awkward encounter with a Trumplodyte today.

Yes I saw one in the wild. And it was literally about what I would expect. So here's what happened:

My mom and I decided to have dinner at a local bar that we usually go to on a regular basis. <Routinely takes Mom to the bar for a meal.  Very classy.> But anyway tonight, we grab a seat by the bar. <Sits at the bar.  Also very classy>There's a woman sitting there alone with a half eaten flatbread pizza. Then a man comes over and grabs the phone and starts watching Sean Hannity - at a place where there's 100 other TVs. The woman asks him what he's doing there with another woman. <Guy jumps out of the bushes, with another woman, grabs up random cell phone and immediately starts watching Hannity?> She caught him having an affair. So while this is super awkward for us, I'm just giving the "do not engage" look to my mom the whole time. And then somehow the conversation turns to politics, and he starts blasting "the liberals" for the disaster that happened in the stock market today. I have the "implied facepalm" look on my face and we're still in the "do not engage" mode.

So then the two of them just stare at each other awkwardly while they finish the half eaten pizza and he downs a couple of Coors Lights. He then goes to the other table, says something, returns to the table, watches Hannity, mumbles incoherently about liberals, then they pay and leave. <Quite the affair if they finished up dinner and left together>

So on the way home we're like "Is this how all Fox News viewers behave?". I really want to know if there's a connection between people who watch Fox News and people who have affairs. That would be some interesting research. That was the quite the awkward display I witnessed tonight.

In all the years I've been alive, and all the bars and restaurants I've been in, somehow, I've never paid close attention to what other people were doing with their cellphones and have certainly never paid attention to other people's conversations, particularly when I had a dinner companion.  So, either this Dummy is a super-creepy peeping-tom level stalker or this is all one big fabrication.  I award two Bouncys for using "So" to start most of the paragraphs, but the rest of it is pretty much crap.

I do like how in her last couple of sentences she accuses Bill Clinton of being a Fox viewer.

1 bong for using ‘so’.

The rest of the bouncy makes no sense. If you catch your spouse cheating it isn’t going down like this at all. DUmmie needs to learn the bouncy must make sense, have a flow about it.

So let try to understand this.  Man and woman are having a fight over having an affair, and then that fight turns into a political discussion.  That doesn't even make sense.  Have to throw the BS flag on this one.   :bs:

My mom and I decided to have dinner at a local bar that we usually go to on a regular basis. We are sleazy lushes, looking for free drinks and maybe a quickie in the toilet. But anyway tonight, we grab our seat by the bar. There's a woman sitting there alone with a half eaten flatbread pizza,it was sausage with green peppers and extra cheeze. Then a man comes over and grabs the phone and starts watching Sean Hannity - at a place where there's 100 other TVs spouting left wing progressive bull shit and propaganda.. The woman asks him what he's doing there with another woman. He told her she was his part time squeeze since she stopped puttign out.She caught him having an affair. So while this is super awkward for us, as we both have had sex with this guy in the toilet on multiple occasions. I'm just giving the "do not engage" look to my mom the whole time. And then somehow the conversation turns to politics, and he starts blasting "the liberals" for the disaster that happened in the stock market today and all the other progressive crap we believe in.. I have the "implied facepalm" look on my face and we're still in the "do not engage" mode.

Yup, it's a really badly composed and implausible :bouncy: . It's plausible up to the point when the guy who is supposedly having an affair or stepping out on his GF (the :bouncy: -spinner forgot to mention a wedding ring being worn by the guy or woman at the bar, a composition error) spots his wife/GF.

The implausibility starts with him leaving new GF to join his wife/GF. That's inviting a scene that could range from a screaming match to him laid out cold on the floor.

But no, this imaginary fool goes up to his wife/GF and ... :o grabs her cell phone :o .

Wife/GF apparently makes no objection? Really? Doesn't loudly demand its return?

Then the imaginary fool opens an app on it (whose presence and operation he knows, somehow) and watches Hannity? :o

Wife/GF isn't screaming his ears into the center of his skull? Wife/GF is just silently watching him? :o

And then Wife/GF and imaginary fool share her pizza? :o How big was the "half eaten flatbread pizza"? For that matter, how big was wife/GF that she ate half of the pizza and then split the remains with imaginary fool?

He preferred her almost-warm leftover pizza to whatever meal he had ordered (and possibly received) to eat with new GF? :o  :rotf:

And when imaginary fool and Wife/GF do talk, they talk ... :o politics :o ? :o  :rotf:

And then imaginary fool and wife/GF leave together? :o  :rotf:

Score: Zero :stoner: s and 4.5  ::) s.

Fox News or any cable news station prevalent at a bar?  I'm calling BS on that alone.  Working as a sideline job at two different bars a week, not to mention being at a lot of bars over the years, that is a giant red flag.

Sometimes during the day is believable.  But unless there is breaking big news, bars won't put that on.  Customers don't want to watch, it is an escape from reality.

Yeah, the whole thing  just feels like the OP was just trying to fit as many DU buzzwords in as it could.  Let's see how many I can find ...

So
Trumplodyte
Sean Hannity
She caught him having an affair.
somehow the conversation turns to politics,
blasting "the liberals" for the disaster that happened in the stock market today.
I have the "implied facepalm" look on my face and we're still in the "do not engage" mode. Seriously??  How in the hell would you 'engage'??    :whatever:
he downs a couple of Coors Lights.
returns to the table, watches Hannity,
mumbles incoherently about liberals,
"Is this how all Fox News viewers behave?".
Fox News and people who have affairs.

Nilla, please.  That whole thing is just goofy.

resulting in incessant arguments causing affairs and heavy drinking, among other misguided behaviors.

11. He's in a bar, having dinner with another woman,

and you assume he's "having an affair?"

And then you wonder why Mike Pence refuses to have dinner alone with a woman other than his wife.  DH had lunch with his former (female) boss last weekend. I'm sure the rumors are flying around town now.

When DU-folk call out a badly composed implausible :bouncy: :

1. It's badly composed;

2. It's BADLY implausible;

3. They are acknowledging that DU-folk are very aware that many :bouncy: s are partially or entirely fictional.

One bouncy for starting it out with "So", but that's about it.  Throw this one out to the judges.  Any extra bouncies for the fact the conservatives were drinking Coors Light.  ( I mean we all know Adolph Coors is a Nazi) .  Maybe a 1/2 bouncy?
