I am conflicted. I usually offer my students extra credit for watching the SOTU address
but I really don't want them to watch all the lies that dotard will be spewing tomorrow night.

Maybe I will ask them to list pros and cons and their feelings of them?

Maybe I will just have them write down questions they want clarified and then on wed we can look up the true facts

careful, that might backfire. One of the little bastagez might stumble on the truth by accident

Personally, I'm glad to see Pam trying to get her shit together prior to teaching her class.  Because, you know, that has been an issue in the past.

Someone seems a bit close to Walldude territory. Especially if 8th Graders in her state are taught US History and the US Constitution. Watching and doing an essay about the SOTU would be a valid extra credit assignment.
