I can't even remember the last time the RNC was in the regular news cycle...
maybe because we don't break the law or cheat in elections...

They are too busy trying to look nice so they can make friends with people who will never vote for them and, since last November, working against their own party's winning POTUS.

And purge the Party of Obama leftovers? Kind of like a simultaneous political emetic and laxative?

While getting rid of the Clintons would be a big step, unless they also get rid of the Obamas they've just traded one crook for another. Certainly there's someone in the party leadership or a big donor that knows this. Even if they have to use one to rid the other, and then turn on the one left, until both those elements are purged they're stuck in neutral at best
