The problem with that statement about "fulfilling Trump's agenda" is that's not the role of Congress - to fulfill *any* president's "agenda."
I might be mistaken, but I think COTUS provides for a separation of powers, which essentially means that Congress has its role (purse and ratification of treaties, officers, etc.), the President has his role as Chief Executive, and the Justice System has its role.
That said, McConnell is a snake oil salesman and should step down, for the simple fact he's a RINO and part of the GOP elite class, which sneers at conservatism in general and embraces big government.
