Remember: these are the fools who, for at least a decade, were absolutely convinced that there were at least 150,000 or more like-minded DUmp-monkies.  Der$kammenführer took great pains to not disabuse them of this ludicrous belief for many, many moons.  Even though it was painfully obvious that the supposed number of DUers included countless banned members, either actual Democrats who failed to toe the DU line or moles who just came to shit in their elevator, they steadfastly refused to accept the reality that they number in the couple of hundreds, at best, at any given moment.
