I see people are bickering here about the fact that the shooter being a Bernie supporter is going to hurt the left. Yes I have no doubt Trump will spin it that way. But Trump would spin absolutely anything whichever way he pleased. The shooter was a nut job end of sentence. True the left doesn't need that kind of attention right now...

But. Know who else doesn't need that kind of attention right now x1000000? Minorities. I'm just glad the random nut job happens to be white. Cause white people can certainly handle that addition to our stereotype, it's part of our priveledge to be able to do so. Minorities don't have that luxury, especially right now.

Was there meaning intended in that verbal side salad?

Painting with a somewhat broad brush, Progs see people as classes - e.g. ethnic, economic, ideological - and deal with people on that basis. Conservatives are more inclined to see people as individuals and take them as they find them.

Exactly who in that same situation would not want a gun to at least have a chance to defend themselves? Gun grabbing at a time like this makes no sense.

First off I am glad the shooter is dead.  Oh and guess what dummie?  The shooter was a Bernie supporter that tried to kill elected GOP representatives!!

The dude was a member of all sorts of Hate-Trump and Hate-Rs FB groups, so this could be a very interesting avenue to explore - who influenced him, who might have ignored threats of violence in his posts, who might have encouraged him in his threats. All hypothetical, but all realistic possibilities.

I do not think he was a loony-toon like the Sandy Hook or Giffords shooters, but he did go from being a (apparently retired) productive citizen to being an attempted mass assassin.

The only thing good about this is that the shooter died. Saves everyone the time and trouble of dealing with a trial and watching his try and get out of prison on appeals.
