In terms of historic parallels, in which I've often compared the election of Donald Trump with the French Revolution, the productive and taxpaying citizens rebelling at being kept down by the parasitical elements of society, we haven't yet seen the equivalent of the storming of the Bastille.
It's coming, it's coming, but it hasn't arrived yet.
The rebellion of decent and civilized people against the Establishment, the Man, is still young yet, and has a long ways to go.
I remind the regular Republicans--a group to which I affiliate my own self--that unless they get busy and cut the budget, lower taxes, and bring some order and stability to the country, it won't be just the primitives around whom the walls are going to crumble.
The hippie Age of Aquarius, despite rare set-backs here and there, lasted forty years; it's not unreasonable to guess this new revolution will go on that long too.
