Stop living in the past...I love Joe, him and PBO are my heros, but we need to move forward and raise up younger Democrats, clear the field a little and give others some breathing room.

I would like Jay Inslee or Al Franken (or both on same ticket) but both men would be 70 when they took office. That makes the likelihood of 2 terms slim.

I say that because PBO is 55 now, after two terms, we still have him in the game and working on Democratic (big D) ideals.
Even Bill Clinton is just now turning 70 and he did two terms and has been out of office for 17 years.

We need to focus on raising new Dems up and shepherding new Dems into running for office in their state legislature, governorships and the House and Senate. That is how you win the long game.

Here are my predictions so far for the Dem candidates in 2020.

Chuck Schumer
Elizabeth Warren

Maxine Waters will try but the DNC will shut her down almost immediately.

This is just based off the Dems that have gone out of their way to make sure they are as visible as possible.
