Well, Politico is not exactly a non-partisan source, but pretending they aren't lying, there are ~35K people employed by the FBI, and 10s of thousands more "formers".  So it is entirely plausible that Politico found some agents who loved Comey, while "trof"'s friend is acquainted with agents and formers who hated him. It's not like 10s of thousands of people are lockstep in their thinking.

I agree with Pete, too large of an agency to think with one mind. Besides, how many agents are upset that they had the goods on Hillary and had to back off because of politics? Probably a whole,bunch of them.

My take is many agents will be coming forth with evidence that was brushed under the rug under Comey. Hey did you guys here the one how Comey's brother has been and is a lawyer for a firm that the Clintons have used for years? No. Look on page 88 of section Z.
