SEAN HANNITY Looking to Leave Fox Amid Liberalization of Network?

Hannity Confirms That He Is ‘Not Negotiating’ For an Exit at Fox News Following Bill Shine Resignation

Fox News is quickly falling apart now that Rupert Murdoch’s liberal sons are taking over the network.

The Daily Beast reported:

Sean Hannity is looking to leave Fox News, according to sources, following the resignation of Fox News co-president Bill Shine officially on Monday.

Shine was Hannity’s his long-time ally whom he personally recommended the network hire two decades ago to produce Hannity & Colmes. In recent days, Hannity warned it would be the “total end” of Fox News should Shine leave, and he rallied conservative activists to back him up.

Initially, insiders said, Hannity’s army of lawyers had hoped to discuss with Fox ways of protecting his 8-year-old primetime show, amid fears that Lachlan and James Murdoch—fresh off the ousting of Bill O’Reilly—were looking to push the network away from hard-right politics.

However, with Shine’s departure on Monday, one source told The Daily Beast, there’s no reason for Hannity to stay.

“The network now belongs to the Murdoch sons,” another Fox insider said after learning that Shine was gone.

The mess at FOX News is a well-coordinated attack by the left to destroy the network because they are too influential in politics.

Sean Hannity confirmed a source to be true after they claimed he will ‘not negotiate’ for an exit at Fox News following the bombshell news that Fox News Co-President, Bill Shine had resigned.

Independent Journal Review wrote an article claiming a source said that Sean Hannity will ‘not negotiate’ for an exit at Fox News and Hannity has confirmed this by tweeting out the article, “If I have anything to say about @FoxNews, I will say it tonight at 10 EST. All I’ll say now is this is true”.

A source close to Sean Hannity tells Independent Journal Review that contrary to earlier reports, he is “not negotiating” for a departure from Fox News. After network co-president Bill Shine had resigned earlier on Monday, it was reported that Hannity wanted out of his contract, which purportedly let him quit if Shine left the company.

The story broke earlier Tuesday afternoon after New York Magazine’s Gabriel Sherman reported that Hannity’s contract allows him to quit his show if Shine left the network:

According to 3 Fox sources, Hannity has a “key man clause” in his contract that would allow him to quit anytime. He’s v. loyal to Shine.

Bill Shine Leaves Fox News – Replaced With A Woman – Murdoch Sending SJW Message?…

Seems like Fox is caving to pressure from witch hunters and social justice warriors. What a great station that’s become.

Via Hollywood Reporter:

Shine, who had been with FNC since its 1996 launch, has most famously been the top player in the cable network’s programming division.

Fox News co-president Bill Shine is out at Fox News. The move comes as Shine was due back Monday after two days out of the office for a pre-planned long weekend.

Rupert Murdoch, 21st Century Fox and Fox News executive chairman, made the announcement Monday via a brief email to Fox News staffers.

“Sadly, Bill Shine resigned today,” wrote Murdoch. “I know Bill was respected and liked by everybody at Fox News. We will all miss him.”

Suzanne Scott becomes president of programming and Jay Wallace has been promoted to president of news. Scott had been Shine’s second-in-command in programming and has been with the network since it began in 1996.

Additionally, Brian Jones, executive vp of Fox Business Network, becomes president of the network reporting to Scott and Wallace.

The Murdochs had recently quietly put out external feelers for a new head of Fox News and were known to be looking for a woman, which would send a clear message given the cloud of sexism the network has been under since last summer when Gretchen Carlson’s lawsuit opened the floodgates of similar accusations against Roger Ailes as well as network star Bill O’Reilly.

Sean Hannity Says He Plans to Stay at Fox News

Fox News host Sean Hannity said Monday evening that he is not planning to leave the cable network following news of his co-president and long-time friend Bill Shine's resignation.

Hannity's denial came amid reports of an alternative conservative network attempting to lure him away from Fox, as well as information about his contract, which allows him to leave the network if former Fox News chief Roger Ailes left.
