Fox & Friends had a graphic this morning that had the Senate seats up for re-election at 2 Independent (but both tend Dem), 9 Republican, and
23 Democratic. Of those 9 Republican seats,
all nine are considered "safe." Of the 23 Democrat seats,
7 are considered "in danger." If the Republicans sweep all 7, that brings them to 59--one shy of a filibuster-proof majority. I think that it's safe to say that
at least one more Dem seat will flip, and most probably two or three. Net gain for the Republicans would be
9 or 10.
