DU-ER Needs help with homelessness

Having contacted the admins for permission, I was going to post about this on election day, but -- well, let just say that being unable to request donations from you back then has turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It forced me to become more self-reliant in terms of dealing with being placed in a proper shelter, landing a three-month temp job, running my blog through public computers, and qualifying for advanced computer training which will be financed with unemployment benefits.

So I have only one problem left -- I need about $500 to pay the first month's rent at a boarding house starting January 15.
the job itself will start either the 17th or the 23rd. I'm proud that I was able to handle so much of my bout with homelessness myself, but I'll need your help in delivering the knockout blow.

I don't want to say that I "missed" DUmmy rocktivity but I had noticed he wasn't active in the pit of all knowledge. I thought perhaps the old geezer died or something. Maybe he did 40 bong hits in 40 minutes and didn't survive.
