Palin was a scare card just to jerk the Dems' chain.  She has a lot of great qualities but she really has 'way too scant a resume for that job, her limited experience in Alaska (Partial term as governor) is not really transferable to the Lower 48.

Spot On DA.

I spend quite a bit of time in Alaska, and have met more than one old timer who has known Sarah all her life, from grade school to high school cheerleader, to governor.  One old lady just this summer I met in Wasilla I quote: "My god.  I've known her all her life.  She was a great cheer leader, and a below average governor.  No way in hell she had any business running for the Vice President."
