The American Civil Liberties Union and more than a dozen gay and transgender rights groups are urging President Obama to commute the prison sentence of Chelsea Manning so she can have a chance at a "real, meaningful life."

I think obama will pardon him.  Slap in our face, so he will. Also look for him to apologize to Japan on the 27th or 29th in Pearl Harbor. sorry bit off topic..... :rant:

I can see Obama doing this as a big FU to the military.  This oxygen-thief should have been executed for his crimes.  The fact that he is still alive is enough generosity on the part of the Military.  Everything that has happened to him since is as a result of Bradley Manning's poor life choices. If he gets his sentence commuted,  good order and discipline in the military will be right out the window.  I hope one of the 'generals' in Washington has the balls to tell him that.
