Newborn dead after mother threw the child out second-story window, police say
A 16-year-old girl was alone in her north Omaha bedroom when she went into labor before dawn Friday and gave birth to a premature baby, police said.
She threw the newborn out the second-story window of her apartment, police said, then told her mother what she had done.
The baby was pronounced dead at a hospital nearby.
After the teen told her what had happened, the mother left their Kellom Knolls apartment, near 25th Avenue and Cuming Street, police said, and found the infant in the grass.

Perhaps that's the
real objection here, that an abortion profiteer missed out on picking up some bucks? That the only abortions that should be allowed are those where someone makes some money off it? Whatever happened to the old American "do-it-yourself"ism?
