Joni is from my state. a solid conservative, military background, a great speaker and she came from behind to beat a liberal lawyer for the senate.

For the first time in a long time, I believe that the VP picks of both candidates could have a major influence on the election.

I like the idea of Joni Ernst.  About the only choice of the (now) four that have been discussed that I wouldn't like would be Chris Christie.  Mike Pence is a sleeper, and Newt Gingrich would be able to work with Congress easier than Christie.

She will get the full Sarah Palin treatment, trust me.  The libs tried that when she ran & won for U.S. Senate.  Proudly voted for her and like her a lot.  Just not sure if she's the right pick.  But then, not really sure who is.
