Told me everyone above the ages of 18..no criminal history and legally owner if the gun.

I asked him where would a person be able to carry?

He replied anywhere in public...malls ..churches...the beach , bars and movie theatres.

I then stated that under his plan he should have no problem if he was at the movies with his family and a middle eastern looking American man sat down next to them with a exposed gun in a holster..right?

The look on his face,was priceless. I could see him trying to think of something to say...He stuttered a bit and hemed and hawed before blurtING out.

We'll not everyone should be able to do that.

That was the best he could do....

I did nothing but laugh and jump in my car and split.

In my rear view mirror he looked like a 5 year old who just found out there is no Santa Clause.

The guys whose case went to the USSC about Chicago's restrictive gun laws was a black man wanting to be able to protect himself from the democratic backed thugs in the city. I don't know of a single conservative that didn't cheer when that man won his case.

I have no problem with people legally carrying guns regardless of color, religion, sexual orientation or anything else that libs like to play politics with.

Yes, I would be comfortable with that scenario. A person with bad intentions is decidedly unlikely going to sit with a gun in plain sight, where everyone can closely monitor his actions, and where he is most likely surrounded by people who are also armed (and I don't just mean a couple security guards or police). Criminals generally attack when they have the advantages.

There are exceptions, of course; criminals have ventured into places where people were packing, but they are remembered as being rather stupid.
