I think we need to politicize this. NOW.

The NRA is already gearing up.

4. ISIS Warned of Attack in Florida June 8

What do you want to politicize? This event feeds the Trump narrative.

This makes a compelling argument for citizens needing to think about how to defend themselves.

ISIS warned of an imminent attack in Florida on June 8.

There's probably upward of a dozen threads here and on CU where I could post this, but as I posted a couple of times on FB:

It's sad, that with so many families and friends of the murdered hurting, so many people are trying to score political points - gun control, Trump-blaming, Christian-bashing, FL-bashing, NRA-bashing - off not yet cold murdered bodies!

FWIW, one of the places in which I posted it was a thread where a FB Friend posted, "Our Second Amendment, hard at work," linking a CNN report about this shooting (which had the Islamic terror aspect of it near the bottom of the aeticle).
If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.

That is some sick, sad, pathetic shit.

If the Second Amendment had been involved, that asshole would have been ventilated by a citizen (or citizens) inside that nightclub.

For any lurking DUmmies, let me be clear. Homosexuals have the same right, and duty, to protect and defend themselves as any other citizen. It's not the responsibility of your precious State. So, go and eat a bag of dicks, you worthless twats.

I really want hillary to start yelling about banning AR-15's on the stump.  I really do.  This will serve two purposes:

1. That last ban was put in under the clintons
2. There goes the dem argument that hillary does not want to take away/ban firearms

It won't hurt the GOP in the presidential election because the gun grabbing states are all already major dem.  It will give voters in swing states something to think about.

Hey primitives, stew on this for a while :bird:

Quote
Gwendolyn Patton, First Speaker of the Pink Pistols, an international GLBT self-defense organization, warns people not to jump immediately to the assailant’s guns as the object of blame, but to concentrate instead on Mateen’s violent acts. “The Pink Pistols gives condolences to all family and friends of those killed and injured at Pulse,” began Patton. “This is exactly the kind of heinous act that justifies our existence. At such a time of tragedy, let us not reach for the low-hanging fruit of blaming the killer’s guns. Let us stay focused on the fact that someone hated gay people so much they were ready to kill or injure so many. A human being did this. The human being’s tools are unimportant when compared to the bleakness of that person’s soul. I say again, GUNS did not do this. A human being did this, a dead human being. Our job now is not to demonize the man’s tools, but to condemn his acts and work to prevent such acts in the future.”

This monster had government approval to be using guns every day, did he not?  He was a security guard in charge of a metal detector.  Correct me if I heard that wrong.
