Well, I, for one, am not convinced that was a pay-for-play scheme. I mean, it could totally be a legit business move. It brings much needed gravitas to the institution, and for under $4M/year! I mean, c'mon, look at it! The institution was so legit, the Dept of State paid them millions! That founder is a real businessman; he got at least a 300% ROI for that hire.
