Christ almighty!
I am probably only on DU about an hour a day, and I sometimes go several days without logging on at all. I have served on 74 juries so far this year. Lately, I've been getting two a day. You guys need to be nicer to each other

1. They also need to allow those of us booted off to rejoin the jury pool.
Yeah, I was booted.
NO idea why. I've got a post to Skinner in Ask the Admins seeking an answer to that.
I was pretty hurt AND angry when I found out.
I would love to help share the load........but first i need to be reinstated.
In true form, Calpig crawls out of her crypt to make the first post. I bet she was so hurt and angry her mouth was agape.

2. Peg, it says "NO" on your profile for willing to serve on juries.
Is that a mistake? I can't imagine why you would be removed from jury duty.

3. Yeah, it says that. And I did not choose that.
It was done to me by one of the administrators.
I don't understand it at all. Like you, I have no idea why I would be removed.
So I posted in Ask the Admins., and I hope to get an answer shortly.

24. Even when we can't see you, I get a feeling that you're out there watching over us.

6. There are a number of us who have been booted off
even though our profiles say "willing to serve" both in "my profile" and "my account"
I was getting several calls/day. Then they stopped. I thought maybe it was just the time of day I was on DU...and then
a couple of days ago I found out about several others who had been booted off who also had 100% chance of serving
and willing to serve listed in their profile.
So, what gives? Who knows? I know I have not been contacted or told why I no longer get calls to juries for quite some time.
More people are dropping off DU entirely because of having been dropped--in their opinion, unjustly--from jury duty.

9. Try going to your account settings
http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=myaccount
Make sure that that you have "Willing" selected. I've heard that choosing the "don't ask..." option (on the far right) of a jury notice rather than the simple "not now" (center) option will change your account to Unwilling.
Sorry if you've already done that but I've mistakenly "unwillinged" myself before.
Skins' super-easy-user-friendly website, DU3 rears its ugly head again.

12. For me it was those 3 options in a jury notice
"Accept..." "Not now..." "Don't ask again..."
I discovered the don't ask link sets you to unwilling. If I were an admin, I'd remove the don't ask in the notice or change the wording to "I'm not willing to serve on a juries" and make the button red.

25. You're possibly also taking up the slack from all
the Sanders supporters they blocked from jury duty. I'm one of them. I used to get alerts nearly every day, sometimes twice a day. That ended about six weeks ago.

27. I just say no to the juries and continue to put annoying people on Ignore. nt
