It's been a ****ing farce from day one. Trump will either withdraw or run 3d party.

He never intended to get this far. It was all a marketing scam. The game is over.

Trump is running against the Democrats, the Establishment Republicans and the Media, all desperate to take him down.

I think that I've said it before here--The Republican Party is changing.  The Establishment types don't like that.  In this election, which should be a slam-dunk for the Republicans, Trump has the possibility of expanding the Party to include the Reagan Democrats.  Cruz has the possibility of energizing the Conservative base.  Either the Establishment tries to make some sort of peace with the Trump coalition, and have some power over where the Party goes in the future; or they actively sabotage Trump, thus dooming the Republican Party to permanent minority status.. The damage that the Dems will inflict on the United States of America will cause its' downfall into chaos and possibly even the Second Civil War, which will pit neighbor against neighbor (much like the Balkan civil war in the 90s) and take decades to recover from--by then, who will rule the world?

Let's look at the Republican Establishment record this century:

2000, Bush and Cheney.
Popular vote: Bush/Cheney 50,456,002 (47.9%) - Gore/Lieberman 50,999,897 (48.4%)
Electoral vote: Bush/Cheney 271 - Gore/Lieberman 266

~sqeaker! But still- it's a rebound from Bill Clinton.

2004, Bush Cheney.
Popular vote: Bush/Cheney 62,040,610 (50.7%) - Kerry/Edwards 59,028,444 (48.3%)
Electoral vote: Bush/Cheney 286 - Kerry/Edwards 251

~ lets admit it- Kerry was a total shit candidate. Also in 2004 the war looked like we were doing pretty good.

2008, McCain and Palin
Popular vote: McCain/Palin 59,948,323 (45.7%) - Obama/Biden 69,498,516 (52.9%)
Electoral vote: McCain/Palin 173 - Obama/Biden 365

~despite the fact McCain war a Vietnam war hero and we ran a woman for VP the [R]s ran a shit campaign virtually sabotaging Palin through backstabbing political shit... Not to mention grandpa Mac... who I had to hold my nose voting for... AND they ran against a ****ing nobody!

2012, Romney and Ryan
Popular vote: Romney/Ryan 60,933,500 (47.2%) - Obama/Biden 65,915,796 (51.1%)
Electoral vote: Obama/Biden 332 - Romney/Ryan 206

2016, WTFK?

~The [R]s in total disarray regardless of the fact that the [D]s are running a avowed Socialist and Hillary Clinton (if she doesn't go to jail before November) in a climate where Barry has made everyone pissed off. By the time we get to the convention the odds are a huge majority of the [R] voters will burn the place down rather than their choice not getting the nomination. e[R] planning scorched earth policy and handing the presidency to Hillary rather than cooperate with an outside choice.

December 2016. Barry pardons everyone (on the [D] side) during the election rioting and promises new elections sometime in 2017. Legalizes 12 million new voters.

What is going on within the party is directly the result of the GOPe refusing to put up even a milquetoast effort to stop anything Obama has done after promising they would.

That opened the door for a Liberal Dem to pretend he's a Republican and bully and bluster his way into the lead in the GOP primaries.  And threaten to have his cult of followers riot if the GOP didn't change rules that have been in place since 1856.

It's a self inflicted would for sure...but one that's not terminal if Cruz gets the nod.  Which looking at the polls as of late...thanks to Trump and his mouth...Cruz is gaining momentum.

Thing is the establishment hates Cruz. I'm not saying they won't back him if he gets the required delegates, but they'd rather have Jeb, or Rubio, or Kasich, or Paul Ryan. What could cloud the situation is if they somehow insert Scott Walker, who I like, but he had his chance. And if he went along with it, I'd have to weigh his loyalty to the establishment R's and, unfortunately, count it as a negative.

The only good thing I think Trump has done is to show the GOP professional politicians how to take a hostile media and turn it back on them and shove it in their face.  He has also brought to the forefront issues that a good majority of Americans care about. The professional GOP still don't get it though!   :banghead:

Maybe that was his goal all along.  To show the GOP how to win or at least fight.

If someone on the GOP side would propose some policies to help the middle class, end illegal immigration, stop the muzzie invasion, stop the massive spending and tell the MSM to go **** themselves they would win in a landslide.  They don't even have to be hard core conservative to do it. Regular old conservative would do it.

Uh, folks, I wouldn't be considering Atman some sort of expert on politics, and especially not about Republicans and conservatives.
