I won't be on JPR at all this weekend and cutting back.

I'm going to KC Friday and get back late Sunday. I take my daughter to the airport early Monday on little sleep. So I won't be online.

I'm now hosting (I started Saturday morning) at that other democratic site for the next 3 months. I could use some help with JPRers posting in my room to keep the light on.

But I will have a post on the high price of staying in KC when I get back. $16 a day to park my car at the $150 a day (discounted for the event) room with no mini fridge or micro wave. Breakfast there is $16. The list goes on and on.

<<<wondering what mini-tacos cost down there in Kansas City.

No jackass radicals have responded yet.

I'm assuming he's going to one of those conventions featuring obscure grade-C has-been television celebrities.

Think of how much money he'd save if he just stayed home and read a book.

He is attending some sort of girls volleyball tournament that his granddaughter is participating in according to a du post from yesterday.

Does KC only have one hotel?  I'm sure he could find a more affordable place to stay if he tried.

Here's his post from yesterday:

Friday we are driving 2 rescued Boston Terriers to their new forever home 200 miles from here

I'm going to KC this weekend for my granddaughters volleyball tournament. Our middle daughter belongs to a Boston Terrier rescue group. As soon as she asked if I would mind transporting these 2 I couldn't say yes fast enough. You know me and rescue stories.

The weather person says it might rain on the way down.

I won't be online this weekend.

We are talking about a selfish dummie here.  His fat ass is bound and determined to leave Marta destitute before he finally kicks the bucket. Only thing he cares about is himself.

I hope when his "disease" finally runs its course Marta parks his fat ass in some nasty hospice for his final 3 weeks. Then he can reflect on his selfish life as he wastes away.... alone, miserable and abandoned.

Should someone with a brain disease similar to dementia really be driving ? He wants forgiveness from DUmmies when he posts stupid shit. Does he expect that from someone he kills on the road because he thought he was posting on DU instead of driving a car?

It'll be fine. Here is Steve's "car":

If he really has the brain rot, he won't be able to find his way home from Kansas City.

I thought this said "KFC" when I first glanced at it.

Oh well.  If it did, it might explain the Big Guy's weight problem.

He does have dementia, so he might mean KFC. If Marta stopped at one of those buffet KFCs, she'd need a tow truck to drag Steve back to the van.

According to East coast/West coast leftists, KC is flyover territory so they perceive that it is tiny.  I've driven thru there 100+ times & have family there.  There are tons of hotels/motels, no matter whether you take 635, the north suburban side, or I-35 directly thru downtown.

Is a micro wave something you do if you have tiny hands?

I stayed at a hotel across the street from Worlds Of Fun and paid less than half of that for my room.
