Today's idiotic LTTE about Obama ("Liberal media," "hope," "nonsense," "Prince of Platitudes")
The letter below is at the bottom of this page:
http://snipurl.com/387ts
They're getting dumber and dumber around here:
Support based on hope
Miss Maxwell's letter exalting Sen. Barack Obama's skills as a great compromiser is based on hope, certainly not facts.
Ranked as the most (that's No. 1) liberal member of the Senate by the nonpartisan National Journal which tracks members' records, Sen. Obama votes the straight party line (when he's there) and has not once "crossed the aisle" on any meaningful piece of legislation, unlike Sen. John McCain who's annoyed his own base by doing so.
Buying into the "hope" and "move forward" and "change" bromide nonsense put out by this candidate and the liberal media as a smoke screen for his complete lack of qualifications is not going to get the job done, anymore than will his "standing tall."
We need a grownup with experience at this time of danger, not a neophyte Prince of Platitudes.

1. A silly barrage of right-wing talking points.
Sounds like the LTTE version of another stupid, lying mccain ad. Cretins everywhere! Welcome to America.
I dunno. franksolich thinks it's a pretty good letter.

6. I think he missed a couple
He used a lot of pretty sophisticated words ("bromide" though used as an adjective; "neophyte" almost used correctly), so it's difficult to say if he was really itching to use "uppity." And he forgot to say that he used to be a Democrat, but that the party left him when it abandoned good old Amurikan principles.

3. Isn't it funny how every time they want to attack a Democratic senator he's the "most liberal" ?
If they want to go after Kerry, he's the most liberal.
Ted Kennedy? The most liberal.
Hillary? The most liberal.
Obama? The most liberal.
Shit, there are more "most liberal" senators than there are Al Qaeda seconds in command.

5. Dear John with the elitist French sounding name,
How is it that in 2004 the 'nonpartisan' National Journal ranked John Kerry as the 'most liberal' Senator and yet a new comer is now the 'most liberal'? Maybe because, the National Journal's rankings were based on just 99 votes, which were selected to compare every Senator on a liberal-to-conservative scale? American Enterprise Institute resident scholar Norman J. Ornstein has also criticized the National Journal's rating of Obama, calling it "pretty ridiculous."

7. I'm trying to decide how to respond to this...
Thoughts?
Just get out the standard boilerplate Obamaite screed of Hate, Intolerance, and Contempt, and see if it gets printed. Nothing fancy, just the standard boilerplate Obamaite screed.
