Is a backlash coming for Bernie Sanders?

That's an interesting question, I think. The venom being projected against Clinton is getting more and more toxic. Not from Bernie, directly, of course, but from some people who call themselves supporters. Clinton gets called "liar" during a debated and booed at a public appearance.

There's a risk in this sort of "support," I think. Not all American voters are so polarized when it comes to primaries within the Party. Not by any stretch of the imagination. Will this "support" eventually lead to some people deciding to vote for Clinton in protest against what they think is unfair treatment of another Democratic candidate?

It's a question I can't answer, really. I switched my support because of it, but I may not be typical of the average Democratic voter. I'll support Sanders if he becomes the nominee, of course, because I'm a lifelong Democrat. But, my primary vote goes to Clinton, in part because of the nature of the campaign against her. I don't respond well to negative campaigning, especially in primary elections. If I wanted to do that, I'd be a Republican. They do it all the time.

I'm not a Republican, though. I've been campaigning for and voting for Democrats since 1960, even when a particular Democrat watn't my first choice in the primaries. I'll keep doing that, but I sense something is about to happen that may swing this primary race back into Clinton's favor.

Hillary went to Flint, Michigan, to support people's need for something to be done about their lead-ridden water supply. She's being attacked, even for that. Just weird, I think. Weird, puzzling, and more than a little alarming. Such things won't work toward support for the other candidate, I'm sure.

Hillary, queen of dirty politics, crying about Bernie's rising member... uh... numbers resorts to backhanded insults to try to drag down the obviously better [D] candidate. The dried up crusty old hag hasn't got a nice word to say about anyone.

6. Bernie supporters.   Bernie supporters are way too aggressive. Kind of creepy. Probably will work against them.

Weee doggies. After the pounding Hillary put on ole man Sanders in the last debate I figured they'd haul her away for elder abuse.  Turns out lots of fire has been directed at the Burn Man lately around these parts.

Bernie’s getting vetted now and Politifact said 47% of the statements they tested are various grades of lies.  We know he vote to deregulate Wall Street twice as well as the gun industry.  So he’s been getting popped pretty hard lately.

All of that drip...drip..drip is catnip compared to this breaking CNN story:

If there's any backlash to come, it'll be towards billary. The bern-outs will be PO'd that billary and the corporate establishment kneecapped their savior, and will not vote for her in the GE. And their anger, for once, will be accurately aimed, because the billarys are going to lie, cheat, and steal to beat the bern. Now there's a backlash that rock boy should explore.

I would not get onboard a small chartered aircraft with Crazy Bernie while he's a credible threat to the Hildebeast.

And speaking of Clintons, has anyone noticed that the Hildebeast's beard, our beloved former president, is looking like a man on his deathbed? The man is gaunt, cadaverous.

I'm beginning to believe he'll taste brimstone before the Big Guy (who is dying).

Bernie better be careful. He's getting on in years and the Clinton family has a pretty impressive number of deceased acquaintances...just saying.

If it were anyone but him, I'd say guilty conscience, but we already know that is not possible. I'm leaning toward him being poisoned. Its possible, however unlikely, that he broke down and started giving it to her again when huma wasn't around.

He'd have to be on a small desert island with her, with no hope of rescue.  That didn't happen, as Slick Willy probably has the forethought to have lots of adoring interns around wherever he goes.

I think Bernie is going to have some problems once he moves away from these first two Lilly white primaries and starts to head into the south and blue states with large minority populations.

It would explain why Sanders is meeting with Sharpton.

I could very easily see the Hillary attack machine spread some of that money she got for speeches around to the various BLM terrorist groups to try and run Bernine off the stage again in an effort to portray him as a racist.

Maybe.  I don't think they are as dedicated to that as some Republicans are.  At the end of the day they still want all their free shit and they know that the Republican won't give them everything they want...and only the Dem...whichever one it might be...will give it to them.

I say that because I seem to recall a lot of Hillary supporters on the Island making the same declaration in 2008...and yet they dutifully pulled the lever for Obama when it came to decision time.
The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

I've reconsidered that viewpoint and can't argue against the things you point out.
